This article is in a form of journal as I add new lines each day of the passing fast.
The spring of 2013 is approaching and I felt a strong desire to go on fasting for a while. I have fasted several times with variable length of time from 1 to max 13 days, this time I set it to 10 days. The start is on Sunday the 17th of March.
Day 1 - I'm so excited
Finally, that day is here! I was quite anxious for the fasting to begin!
Yesterday I made the liver cleansing and this process actually needs two days to accomplish so I started the morning with drinking the third glass of water with magnesium sulfate and after 2 hours I drank the last glass of this mixture. It's normal that visits to the bathroom are quite often because of this cleansing, so today I stayed at home the whole day. But it was more or less raining the whole day, so it wasn't a problem to be inside.
For lunch some fruit juice for me. Today I cooked for the whole family. That wasn't a problem for me; I felt no desire for the food. Only the tasting of the rice was done by my husband. :-)
In the evening I prepared myself a special onion soup and made an enema.
Day 2 - everythink going ok
Feeling great on the second day. No problems whatsoever. I could slept a little bit longer, but that my fault - I went to the bed last night around midnight. I promise tonight I shall go to sleep at least 2 hours before midnight.
After the usual morning procedure I went for a walk for about one hour. Can you believe it? It's 18th of March and it is STILL snowing? Actually here it's snowing quite heavily. I really wish the spring would come soon, but nevertheless it was a nice walk through the snow.
Immediately after coming home, I prepared a juice from 3 big carrots, 2 apples and a pinch of cinnamon. Ooo, my God, how goooood is this.
For lunch a juice from 2 squashes, 2 carrots and one radish. The taste of this juice is not so yummy, I must admit that fruit juices are far more better. A way better juice in the afternoon made only from oranges and a pinch of dried ginger. I like ginger very much, dried or fresh.
I had plans for today to go to the sauna for even more detoxification. But I got my period a little bit early, so no sauna today. So this plan is postponed until next week, probably some days after the end of fasting.
In the evening a very tasty (remember I'm on a fast) onion soup and before bedtime the usual evening procedure.
Day 3 - full of energy what a lovely day
Well, this fasting is going on really well. I have lots of energy, feeling absolutely great!
After the usual morning procedure I decided to go out for a ride with a bike. The sun is shining and the snow from yesterday is beginning to melt, so the roads were clean from the snow. I wasn't driving on the main roads but rather on the gravel road. This road was wet and with lots of puddles but that's not an obstacle, sometimes I just drove through them. It was such a beautiful ride, I felt so amazing, so happy to be alive and to be able to go outside on such a day. My clothes were all dirty when I got home but that's ok, I feel so alive. Hm, it seems this enthusiasm, excitement is a side effect of fasting, good I like it! :-))
After coming home I went to shower and prepare myself delicious orange and carrot juice. Afterwards I drink another glass of water with dried and crushed green Chlorella algae. I have algae which are in tablets, so I crushed them first in the mortar to make the powder out of them. I like my mortar very much, it was a present for my birthday.

Day 4 - a llittle bit tired this day
I want to be totally honest with you, even when I'm not feeling so great. It is normal while fasting to have now and then some crisis or just not feeling very great. I know and accept this and I'm not too worried about it when it happens. :;-) But of course if I would feel really, really bad for prolonged time I would stop fasting. I think we should always listen to our bodies and if this means prematurely end something, then this must be done.
Well, this morning I didn't feel so great as yesterday. Probably because I haven't slept enough - I have gone to bed around 11 p.m. but couldn't fall sleep for a while and I woke up quite early and my mouth was very dry, I was really thirsty. And my eyes were sore from the allergy. For many years I have allergy in this time of the year. The allergy usually starts in February-March and stops somewhere in May-June. When this is happening I'm having sore eyes, running from my nose and sometimes trouble with breathing. I take pills or Ventolin for breathing only when it gets worst, for small troubles I don't use the medicine and usually this works well for me. Sometimes the symptoms are worst, sometimes better and some years there are almost none. Some years ago when I've done 13 days of fasting I almost didn't have any troubles, so I'm hoping this fast will help also this year. :-)
As you can see the morning was not very good, but it wasn't anything critical.
This morning I drove kids to school and kindergarten (usually my husband does that) so I just decided to change the morning procedure a little bit. I left the car in front of the kindergarten and went for a walk. When I got home I made the enema and after that I felt much better. Afterwards I prepare delicious juice from 1 carrot, 2 apples and 2 oranges. After this I'm well again. :-)
For lunch I had juice only from vegetables: 2 carots, some celery and some turnip-cabbage. Not that thasty as are fruit juices, but it's ok and is good for health. :-)
As every day an onion soup for supper and the usual things I do before bedtime.
Day 5 - feeling god again
In the morning I was feeling good again. :-)) Despite the fact I had sore eyes because of the allergy.
After the usual stuff I do when fasting I made myself excellent juice from 1 apple, 3 carrots, 1 orange and a little pinch of cinnamon. Mmmh, how tasty is this. You should try this. :-))
And after that I went to work. I work at home, so I didn't go very far.
For lunch a vegetable juice from carrots, celery and lemon. I particularly don't like celery very much, but with lemon juice is sort of ok.
In the afternoon I went to the 4-hour seminar. I brought with me just water with lemon juice. I got home to late to prepare another juice, so today I didn't drink lots of juices.
HALF TIME - HURRAY
I have released around 3 kg or 6.6 pounds of weight
Day 6 - another wonderful day
I'm so happy to have another great fast day. :-) Everything going ok, feeling very good and with lots of energy.
I went for a walk in the morning, the sun is shinning really nice. Hope the spring is coming now in full blossom. After I got home I prepared delicious juice from apples and oranges.
For lunch a healthy vegetable juice made only from 3 squashes.
In the afternoon me and the kids went to the park and had a wonderful time there. I really just can't believe how good I feel, how clear are my thoughts. This fasting is probably my best so far. :-) Hope it will last until the very end.
For supper another plate of onion soup.
Day 7 - feeling very "goooooodish" :-)
Today has been a busy day. In the morning I took my two daughters to a workshop where we made decoration for easter.
My fasting is proceeding really well, no problems, another day witl lots of fruit and some vegetable juices and the usual stuff necessary for fasting.
Is is really important to have positive thougths and attitude during the fast (and any other time!). In the afternoon I went to one presentation held by a 27-year old woman from Slovenia working for about 5 years in Africa. She totally impressed me with her energy and positiveness.
And just before the bed I red another highly motivational book from dr. Wayne Dyer called Wishes fulfilled. Ooo, my spirit is up to the sky. :-)
The usual stuff in the morning, nothing special here about fasing, I'm still feeling very good. But the weather is very unusual - it is snowing again!
In the afternoon I went to the exhibition of traditional food for Easter from or local village. After the exhibition they also served all of that food. Hm, hm, hm, great if you are fasting! :-) I know that food is really good, but I just said NO and didn't eat anything. It would be very unreasonable if I ate - this food is very tasty but it's a little bit difficult to digest. I could get real stomach pain if I'd eat this after fasting for a week. So I just talked to people there. :-) Actually I didn't even feel the desire to eat although I could SMELL the food very intensively. I'm quite proud of myself. :-)
Did I say I don't like to do a fast in the winter? Well - today is totally winter outside! Snow, snow and again lots of snow and it's still snowing (it's 25th of March) ! When will this end? Where are you spring??

But otherwise I feel terrific. I just can't believe how well this fast is going. Probably because I do all the stuff that's necessary - enema 2twice a day, lots of water, water with chlorella, 2 juices at least etc.
Today I didn't go out in the morning because my son got chickenpox and I'm at home with him. So I just made some aerobic exercises at home. It is really essential to do some aerobic exercises and get heart rate up because we don't want to weaken the heart during the fast.
In the afternoon I prepared a little unusual juice from squahes, carrots and orange. The taste was quite interesting, better than just from squashes and carrots. Even my children did drink that. :-)
I went outside in late afternoon when my hudband got home. It was a very nice walk, I felt so positive and with lots of energy altouhgt it was snowing.
Day 10 - the last day
So this is the last day. I'm almost sorry to end the fast. :-) Except for one day I felt all the time great. This is definetely my best fast. Maybe also because I share my experiences with you. :-)
In the morning - of course - the usual stuff. Since my son is still at home with chickenpox, I didn't go outside in the morning (it's still snowing heavily). I prepared for us delicious juice from only apples and cinnamon. Also my son loves this juice very much.
In the afternoon a juice made only from broccoli. It's not so bad but it's not so tasty either.
